This was ridiculously busy week, but I don’t feel like I’ve got a whole lot to show for it. I’m not the only one who has those weeks from time to time, right? Here’s what we’ve been up to:
The first half of our week was especially non-productive. Monday was, well, it was a normal slow-moving Monday. Hubby and I spent a good chunk of our Tuesday with a home inspector at the new house. By Wednesday, The Boy wasn’t feeling well and needed to spend the day in bed. Thank goodness for our homeschool co-op! Without the co-op, The Boy would have almost nothing to show for those few days.
Prissy was a trooper though! She was excited about learning Letter L, her letter, and she worked hard all week. We had tons of Letter L books already and didn’t need to visit the library like we normally do. Between our books, our Letter L practice pages, and the L is for Lion book she made, she has plenty to show for this week. It was a great week for Prissy!
From a homeschool standpoint, even though we almost had an off week, albeit unplanned, some good came from it. I’ve spent a great bit of time lately researching our curriculum options for next year. There are so many good options available that it often gets overwhelming to make those big decisions. During The Boy’s “time off,” we made some big strides with our curriculum options and I think we’ve got most of it figured out. It may sounds overly dramatic, but there’s a huge weight that’s been lifted off my shoulders just by finding some clarity.
That’s about it for us this week. Make your moments count this week!
Have you stopped by to visit my friends at CurrClick this week? There’s only one week left in their Easter Homeschool Sale and you don’t want to miss it! I am a big fan of CurrClick and have been for quite some time. Whether you’re looking for unit studies, lapbooks, curriculum, supplements, or even online classes, CurrClick has you covered! They also offer great clubs and lots of freebies. You’d be crazy not to stop by and check them out.
