Holiday baking is something that many families look forward to each year. It’s a wonderful time to get out the family recipes and have fun in the kitchen. The problem, however, is that many of the old family favorites aren’t recipes that kids can make. Some of the classics holiday treat recipes are a little too involved for kids.

No fear! That doesn’t mean that your kids can’t help out. They can still have lots of fun creating lots of yummy Christmas treats — the trick is finding the right recipes for them to make.
I’ve been busy collecting ideas that are perfect for getting kids in the kitchen this Christmas. It goes without saying that you’ll need to be around to help since some of these ideas require an oven, but you can certainly let them do the heavy lifting with these fun recipes.
Christmas Treats Kids Can Make

5. Christmas Tree Marshmallow Pops – Marshmallows, melted chocolate, and sprinkles always make for a fun afternoon. You’ll need to help with the chocolate and stay nearby to keep it from getting too messy, but there’s no reason kids can’t make these marshmallow pops. The hardest part by far is containing the mess.
