I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the new year and about how to make it different from all the rest. I found my answer on a Sunday evening in November as I sat in a coffee shop with my pen and my journal. I was thinking of the many homeschool families I know who seem to be struggling with thing after thing when God put something on my heart: a homeschool prayer challenge.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of a better way to start 2018 than by joining together in prayer for our homes and homeschools. That’s why I’m excited to share the details about this prayer challenge and let you know how you can join me.
21 Day Homeschool Prayer Challenge
A 21-Day Homeschool Prayer Challenge may sound complicated, but it’s not. I paired scripture readings with prayer prompts for each day of the challenge and placed them in short e-book. You simply read the scripture and prompt, ponder, and pray as you feel led.
If you prefer to take your Homeschool Prayer Challenge one day at a time, no worries. You’ll also receive a short daily prayer prompt in your inbox. That way you’ll be covered if you don’t have a chance to grab the e-book on a particularly busy day.
Lastly, you can also share any of your thoughts about the prompts using #homeschoolprayerchallenge on social media. That will make it easy for all of us to find any posts you share about the Homeschool Prayer Challenge.
Homeschool Prayer Challenge e-Book
If you’ve found yourself unsure of how to pray specifically for your homeschool, this challenge is for you. Or perhaps you simply want to offer God the firstfruits of your new year by committing the first 21 days to prayer. If so, join the challenge!
Know some friends who would be interested in joining the challenge? Share this post with them and invite them to participate! After all, Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:20 that “where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” I love the thought of lots of homeschool mamas coming together at the feet of Jesus in prayer for our homeschools!
I accepted the #HomeschoolPrayerChallenge from Table Life Blog. Will you join me in praying for the homeschool community? #ihsnet
